Default Thanks to Mista Bone....bolt out of tranny!!

I was replacing a pressure plate to flywheel bolt when I accidently dropped another in!! There is no way to grab the bolt out with the tranny on, and I figured I would have to take my chances and hope it worked its way out like the bolt that backed out on its own.

I IM'd mista bone and he suggested going in thru the hole where the slave cylinder and shift fork are. It worked!! The tool almost got stuck coming out, but I got it with the bolt. SOOO happy right now!

Thanks man!

The time listed is when I had my turbo. It is now sold.

To the guy about the slave cylinder....see the thing sticking out of the tranny housing? That is the shift fork. Normally there is a big rubber boot covering that, along with a slave cylinder next to it that actuates the fork when you push in the clutch.

How were you replacing a pres. plate to fly. bolt? Did you just go through the starter hole, then drop one in?
