coldair or shortram intake?
It is beneficial, but from what I have heard only by like 1-2hp. You probably would not feel it. If you have a cheap filter it would be better to get a higher end one like a aem dry flow or apexi.
I don't know exactly but from my understanding, and please someone correct me if I am wrong, but short vs cold depends on what you want out of your car. The longer, cold air, tube creates a little more lag in air flow than a short one does but it provides colder air over time. A shorter one will proved better response but you pass up the cooler air. I just have a regular sized one on mine.
The hp gains of a cold air are supposed to be in high rpm, and short ram is for low end power. The difference is maybe 1-2hp. But the big thing is, you can easily hydrolock a car with a cold air intake, especially on a lowered car. Short ram is much higher and safer. Short ram or stock in my opinion. "cold" air is a joke since it's barely any different.
