Well..... here we go. this is my first build thread , NOT MY FIRST BUILD! , so plz be chill.
I picked this gem up for $196 and a pack of newports a few months back from a friend needing $$ and ciggs lmao .Car ran , didnt drive , (blown auto trans ). plans for the car were to clean it up a bit ,"had been in a previous wreck, some lady backed in to it", do a minior wire tuck << which may have been pointless" ill explain later if all goes well ". basically just a normal not off the wall build hence Im totaly fu*king broke.
so here is how I found her sitting ugly in his front yard ........

 

thats the good thing about ef's when your totaly broke you can still build one.

 

Now for the bad ..... RUST!! and dents ....
BTW , ppls vote , Bondo.... or new metal IDK never had a car with holes in it i cared about b 4 , input would be great.... heres the damage

 

Im still loading picks and stuff , just taking a smoke break more to come in like 10 -15 min , BTW any know how to post more than 5 pics @ a time , would make this so much faster

Looks like a good build man, and as far as what to do about the rust , cut it out weld in new metal only way to fix it, bondo will just make it worse and then crack and look worse then before,
do you plan on doing a MPFI swap? that with the VTEC head should be a very nice improvement

 

yeah sourcing the Mpfi parts right now but no luck, all the yards here a picked clean , heard of a few in B-more maryland that might be legit but , idk yet , also going obd1 with it

 

there's a few junk yards in this area, and close to the md boarder that have mpfi crx's and civics. quite a few at the one place i know of in md. awesome buy btw! cheap transportation, lol.

 

ive got an mpfi complete manifold from a d16a6 for 100 shipped if u need it

gotta love the east-coast style shoe-less photos! i did that same thing when i was fixin my crx front, pictures of HF and toes.

 

yeah i paid $110 shipped for EVERYTHING needed for the mpfi swap ecu dizzy mani wire harness etc
