Default dropped cars

what are the advantages n disadvantages??
i have my car drop about 1.25 with tokico blue sets i am wondering if this affected my handling, my car steering wheel moves from side to side while driving at slow and on fast speeds it feels that i dont have 100% control of my car sometimes it yerks to one side n it moves to the left side, my car was hit from the right side from previous owner n later after purchase i found out that i needed to replace right side knuckle, rear n front crossmember, rack n pinion n lower arms, i replace the axles too i did wheel balance, alignment only last thing i need is fram alignment. Do i need to adjust my tie rods from the rack n pinion?? i took my car to a frame shop they said i need my frame 1/2 inch pull back. This car doesnt drive straight on slow or fast speeds on a straight clean road free of cracks n everything that could make my car move on its own.

lowering kit should IMPROVE your car handling on straight away and on corners, especially if you have stabilizer bars. the only disadvantage i can think off is that if ur car is too low and you live somewhere with bumpy roads youll be hitting the bumpers and might even crack them. i have a 94 ex with air bags so i can adjust my hight but i added the stabilzer bar on it and it really helps. you really need to get that frame re-aligned and possibly do another tire alignment.

your frame is the reason for pull you seriously dont think a 1/2" of bend in your frame is not going to cause pull youll have to get the frame straightened then get another alignment and that should solve these issues

Yeah... that frame most likely plays at least a role in this.

Sounds like you replaced a lot of the handling components that could cause this, but there could be more.

The shocks and whatever lowering springs you have should not cause your problem, especially if they are new. As silent1jt said, your handling SHOULD be better.

you should stop thinking about buying more suspension upgrades when your car needs to be made safe for the road first

Priorities:

1. Fix frame
2. Fix boot
3. Check for any other bad parts
4. If all is well, then performance upgrades

Good luck!

First thing you should do is fix the frame before it gets worst.

the sway bars just keep the car from leaning to the side in a corner. they wont do anything for you with your problem. unless you have the money to spend then go for it.
