Default will a 93 si tranny work with my d15b1 std motor?

can i do that? and can i run a different stronger ecu just bolting on without changing my d15b1?
just questions,no flaming please and thanks in advance.

yes you can bolt up a 93 si tranny to your d15b1, but you wont go anywhere unless you do a hydraulic conversion. because as you know you now have a cable driven transmission and the 92+ civics use hydraulic trannys. and no you cannot jut plug in a "stronger" ecu, you will have to either splice in the ecu pig tails from a newer honda or get an obd0-obd1 conversion harness.
