As the topic states, are these really discontinued? I have heard this from several sources and can not seem to contact Omni Power through email or by phone.

 

hmmm I'm not sure. I haven't tried to purchase any. Do you think Omni Power went out of business or just their line of coilovers?

 

Last i heard they were on national back order.

How do these compare to the OMNI's and Blox...Looks like the spring rates are way down and no top hats...

Our car went from a animal to something you could real put your foot into and not have the car move around on the road.

It's worth the call, what do you have to loose. They'll work with you to get a set up that's right for you, not just sell you something that everyone else buy's.

 

On the roads fine what about the drag strip

 

They can adjust the rebound so the car won't nose dive when you shift gears. It all depends on your set up. Call Joey and talk with him, let him know what your looking for. He can put you in touch with Ed the shock designer and give you personal service.

That's what Ryan did a few years back, Ed took the time to explain things to him and teach him what to look for and what to watch. When the car went drag only we sent the shocks back and Ed made further adjustments to the valving.

 

i had a shelf progress kit, and when i talked to joey and told him the power i was making, he said i cant believe the car acted as civil as it did, since his revalve job, and correct spring rates, my car is a completely different animal.

atleast call and talk to joey.

 

ccould anyone pm me the prices on the progress kits, im really interested in them.

keep in mind spring rates aren't everything in fact they aren't very important at all if the shocks is dampened incorrectly - we ran 500 lb springs on the back of our car back in the day with a correctly dampened shock and they worked great....now we are running a 700 lb spring on the back of the car with a good shock dampening setup and it is continuing to work well -- you really want the shock to be allowed to do its job as much as possible

 

Just FYI, omni power finally contacted me and the coilovers have been discontinued.
