Default Should you be able to move clutch lever by hand?

I'm putting a ZC motor and Si transmission together and we got everything bolted up out of the car. But when we went to try out the clutch lever (where you put the clutch cable) it only moves a couple inches. Is this normal? Everything went together fine, no binding etc. But the lever only moves a couple inches. Will it work like it should once its in the car with the clutch cable hooked up?

Yes you should be able to move it a little. When you hook up the cable just adjust it till all the slack is gone

Not totallyyy. They start stretching out so you have to keep tightening the cable a lot to keep the tension in which over time it'll get so stretched that there is no more adjustment left. Clutch cables for our cars are only like 40bucks at the most.

When you adjust your clutch make sure you have like .5-1in of play in the pedal.
