just need some confirmation on this i guess.
i used an act 6puck in my turbo z6 but with a stock pressure plate. one of my friends had great luck with this setup, launching at 7k on 24.5's no problem. at the track this week my rpms were kinda floating around up above 6k and it seemed like i couldnt get the car to get moving. these symptoms would point to the clutch not holding correct?
my car shoulda been making about 260/230 or thereabouts weighing 2400 and on bfg drag radials. (ps the problem still exists but is not as evident on street tires)
my current assumption is that the pp isnt clamping the clutch disc enough causing it to slip a little bit

i bought an action 2md pp thats bnib. that should work with the act disc as long as its not too glased over from slipping correct?

update on this...the stock pp was shot, glazed right the hell over.
the oem flywheel was also glazed and full of spider cracks. had to replace it.
i reused the clutch disk with the action 2md pp and a different oem flywheel, worked like a charm
