how many cars useually show up to this? how good is the track?

 

The track is decent. But nothing like woodburn, im hoping for a better turn out next round, This race was setup so the sportcompact cars around the NW would have a place to race against each other have fun and maby win a little money and a trophy!

But so far its not looking good on are end. I have a few people including myself that will be there for each event but its not looking like there is much interest in SPORT COMPACT DRAG RACING THESE DAYS! atleast not around here.

 

I heard that bremerton is supposed to be one of the better ones.. Wooburn is not a good track for the FWD guys with 650+whp...good for the small guys like me

 

**** when i went to woodburn last year for battle track was sticki as hell!!! Alot better then bremerton on a friday. It all really depends on the day, it seams like everybody has somthing to say about track conditions at every event. On a side note i have ran my fastest at bremerton 10.6@140. I think i would of gone quicker at woodburn but the car was hooking so much better it was boging out the hole! gringoteg how has the turn out been at pir friday night drags? I want to make a trip down there soon! You guys have any import events going on down there this year?

 

The thing ive noticed is yes the 60ft is sticky as hell at woodburn sometimes but when you have 650+whp its 3rd and 4th gear you want to hook... you can power the car down to 400whp in 1st and 2nd but to be able to trap high and run the time you need a track that will be able to hold ALL of that power in 3rd and 4th! Woodburn wont hold the power there... Remember that white hatch that won BOTI woodburn and BOTI seattle? he just went his fastest at woodburn 10.19@148.98 BUT the car was still spinning in 3rd and 4th... if you say bremerton isnt as good as woodburn then it wont do well for the high hp FWD cars...

I totaly agree with ya, to bad the tracks around here rarely lay vht past the 60, also there isnt to many super high hp fwd cars that go to the tracks around here. I havent seen many I do remember the white hatch bub right? He was the #1 qualifer last year. I see his car is movin this year. Hopfully i can get my race car dialed in before battle, sucks there not coming to seattle this year.

 

Wish i could go to that track tho...id like to run at other tracks but its just hard to get out of here sometimes!


Yes Bub..the car is coming along very well! If we can get it to a track like Seattle i think it will go fast!!!

 

Ya for sure its fun going to diferant tracks meeting cool people and having fun! If you guys head up here let me no i will be there!
