My DB8 GOT STOLEN SATURDAY MORNING!!
I bought my DB8 for about a month now from Ryan from San Diego. Sportmotion built the car, and most might remember the car.
1996 White GSR with K20a2
The car was last seen in Norwalk, CA 90650. I last went to the car to put a bag in it at 11 pm, and the nieghbor said she didn't see the car when she got home at 2 am. I removed the steering wheel and loved the car with an alarm. I woke up in the morning to go to my reserve weekend for the military and my car was gone. It enrages me to find out that people out there don't respect what we do, and hard work and pay for our cars. If anyone know the were about of my DB8. PLease call me at 562-215-9309.
Here is a breakdown of what the car has on it. I still have my steering wheel, but everything on the car is gone. I posted pics as well. These are pictures I got from Ryan.

you didn't have the steering wheel lock did ya? I find it pointless to have a quick release set-up without the lock..someone else could just pop in a different steering wheel and off they go!! GL with the find bro..hope it won't be just scrap metal

yea ****en sucks bro, my friend ef got stolen like aweek and a half ago. His car wasn't even running at the time when they stole it becuz his wireing was ****ed and was gonna do a wiretuck. So only option is that they tow the car now and days. **** THIEVES
first of all, im sorry for the lose, ive had my 94 with a swap stolen myself...
GPS for the win, i will have a gps unit and software installed on my computer, my computer screen stays on 24/7 and if the car moves 5 feet the computer notifies me right away and as long as i can locate the car before they break the gps unit in the car then im gettin her back. Owning a souped up honda you have to assume it'll get stolen, you do every precaution... quick release, clutch lock, no key holes, alarm.... just so when you take a quick trip somewhere someone cant just take it really quick.. you have to make it where they would have to tow it away and thats when the gps comes in handy.. of course it still may not get your car back but can you imagine if you could of located your car on google maps after you walked outside and didn't see your car... you may of been able to notify the police and let them know you have gps on the car and that if they dont come with you then your going to take care of it yourself and they will make sure to have a police officer go with you.

im sorry for the loss man, since you said you`re aimin for a crazier alarm setup I suggest you get a full stealth alarm. you may have an alarm but its only as good as the person who installed it. GPS> lojack
Damn, that had to have been an inside job. Someone that knew the car.
Honestly, just driving around looking for a good car to steal, this one would not be the first to catch my eye, especially since it LOOKS like just a plain old fodo with rims and a cf hood.
Someone knew you had the kswap in it.

I agree with casey...but on the other hand those teggies are the most stolen car of america... Either way gluck getting it back and will keep an eye out anywhere on the internet.
UPDATE!!
I got a call from the Sherriff's department this morning and they said they found the car. The car is currently at a tow yard in LA.
I was told the car has no motor, tranny, guages, and sitting on spare tires. Full interior is still intact minus the Defi gauges and cluster. I'm pretty sure they took all the suspension parts off as well.
I know for sure that the car was stolen specifically for the swap, and going to be questioning all the kids down my street for names and information of those they have spoken to about my car in the past. That person knew it had a swap for them to be targeting my car.
I will find you....and you will be tortured.

if u find them smash there hands with a hammer
I went to see the car and a sign a release for the insurance company yesterday. They did a surgical strip to the car, taking all parts related to the swap, cluster, Defi gauges, ECU, shifter, and even my bag of clothes.
They guy at the tow yard did let me take some of my parts off, but didn't have enough tools to take all that I wanted. They left the coilovers, NRG short hub, PasswordJDM rear trunk brace and strut brace, my new clear sidemarkers, SIR-VTEC fog lights, and window visors that they broke.
I was only able to get the markers, short hub, and Mugen pedals.
I was thinking of buying back the car from the insurance after they total the car, but I have to see if that is going to be benificial with a salvage title now, and the car is set up for Kswap as well.
