Thats what im telling him. he definately gonna have fun with that build in that ef of his. and yeah the tuner im recommending are both very good. either evan from evans-tuning in P.A. or YOSOLO from N.J.
the pistons and rods are a waste IMO. heavier than stock. about the same compression as a P30 in that block. so is the blockgaurd. tell him to sell those items and put the money directly into quality reputable headwork.
i hate contributing to the bench racing, but a local car with same compression pistons/rod combo, a port flow head, and a crappier header made 196 on synapse's dyna pack, i have no idea what their pack compares to tho.

well the bottom end he managed to buy it off a friend of ours who decided to go K series. he sold the head already and my boy with the ef jumped on the great deal for the short block. short block had about 300 miles on it since it was put together.

Looks like the Eagles are lighter than the stock rods. The Manley H beams I bought weighed in at 506 grams.
thank you sir.
now it just re questions why the hell everyone thinks eagles are a waste when in fact they are lighter, although i doubt in any street driven car that the weight will ever make a difference anway.

506+322=828
544+305=849
Go figure.
These specs are for a GSR
Edit: Forgot to add the forged pistons are and 84mm bore with a 5.3cc dome.

bump... cant wait to see this thing together and tuned to get some track numbers. we even thinking maybe a small shot...lol like 75 or 100 but thats up to my boy since its his build and daily driver.
All the 11.5:1 1.8L's out there and people still need numbers based on speculation. Build it and get it tuned and you'll have a factual number.
Yo Franco thanks for making the thread for me, I finally made an account on here. cant wait to get the head off the motor and start getting it ready. so when u have a chance come through and help me take off the head and send it out.
