Default EE9 vs. EF9 front end.

As a lot of you know or don't know, I totalled my 91 hatch almost two weeks ago. I've since pulled off the hood, front bumper and both fenders. The front end doesn't look TOO bad. I know i'll need a complete front end, new core-support, t-bar support, radiator and get my fender-linings all straightened out and what not. You get the picture. Since I went under the vehicle the frame is not touched, the motor mounts are straight and not touched.

My question is, are there any differences in the EE9 front and the EF9 front. Since I wrecked her, just more of an initiative to get the frontend i've always wanted.

Thanks for your future answers guys.

Cosmetically the same

There are bigg and small differences like for example the Horsepower, the EE9 has 150Hp stock while the EF9 has 160Hp, both B series are the same but the EE9 lacks a knock sensor and was detuned for the European market which had different octane levels in their fuel (95RoN and 98RoN) while the Japanese domestic market supplied fuel with 100RoN. We'll show you a detailed picture comparison between these two 4th generation Civic VTEC models in the table below based on the biggest differences.

Lol, that I have been answered. Now it's just a decision whether I want to stick to my old roots of a four door EF(hence my username) or go back to the hatchie...Hmmm.

ef9 fronts on sedans do look pretty tasty.

But not as good as one piece front ends.

Yes they do, but trying to find one is like trying to find a needle in a hay-stack. I haven't even seen one for sale in over a year. IF I got a four door I would only get two colors, white or the really dark blue. Mmmmm sexy.

EE9's come with glass headlights, EF9's have the plastic units.

The details are interchangeable though. The panels would swap between JDM -> EDM and vice versa.
