nope, especially if they power washed it. it would have to be used rightaway to prevent corrosion.

I would only get it if you need it. it does have decent mileage.

hm.. ok then. screw that one lol. What do you guys suggest? I found another also.

# HEAD
# INTAKE MANIFOLD
# FUEL RAIL WITH INJECTORS
# VALVE TRAIN WITH CAMS AND GEARS
# ROCKERS AND NUTS/BOLTS
# SPARK PLUG
# VALVE COVer

this one is 261 shipped. Would you go with that one? I'll end up changing the changing the valve cover on this one anyway because it doesnt have the vtec logo on it. but would you grab that one?

and sleeper do you have the wiring needed for the solenoid?

I found a dizzy with cap and rotor for 76 shipped. as stated in my edit, do you have the wiring necessary to wire the solenoid.

no. it says it has a cam, and cam gear.

are you doing a mini me?

make sure the head has the back timing plate if you are. and you will need to get an adjustable cam gear. (timing will be off 1/2 tooth, if you dont)

junk yard for the timing plate. you can get a cheapo cam gear on ebay for $15 then save up for a nice one, skunk 2 or something.

if you want the ecu $50, my paypal is didgie@embarqmail.com

will be shipped monday, and insured thru usps.

if you are going all out with the car, i have a chipped p06 (converted to p28) . $175 shipped. you don't need this ecu, unless you plan on doing some big things in the future lol. but its easy to chip a ecu yourself if you have sodering skills.

ok sweet. I'm gonna grab the solenoid and ecu from you. I'll be paypalling said funds momentarily. I'll send you a note too saying something like trickster kid from H-T solenoid and ecu or something.

will I need anything else for my swap after all of this. I've got a water pump, timing belt and getting the dizzy cap and rotor.

get a new head gasket. and red rtv silicone. the silicone will be used to make a gasket for the vtec solenoid, and whatever else you need a gasket for. BESIDES THE HEAD GASKET LOL.

yup. and might i make a suggestion, that you get a head gasket for a d16y8. 96-2000 civic 1.6L. its a metal gasket (will last forever lol) and you can remove the middle layer, and bump the compression up, for a few more ponies.
