Default Color change and kit install. On The CRX

I am going to be changing the color of my CRX to a silver. But I am going to be installing a Wings West kit on it also. My question is should I install the kit and then spray it all at once or spray the car and the kit separately and then install? Also would it be best to spray the bumpers, fenders, hatch, doors off or on the car? Would it be easier to get the jams that way?

i believe the door flaps have to be screwed on to the doors and then you have to bondo the holes to cover them up

Every body kit I have ever seen looked like *** in a raw unfinished state. It takes alot of body work and a good bodyman to make a kit look decent.

I have seen alot of people do a good job spraying the paint. Unfortunately they did a poor job prepping the body kit. It ends up looking wavey, pitted, poor fitting etc...

Working with fiberglass sucks, polyurethane kits usually take less prep and fit better.

If you take your car into a shop, a lot of times, unless specifically asked, they'll just paint everything on the car. As to save them time not having to put it all back together. In my personal opinion, the more disassembled the car is the better for painting, so then you can get into all the little gaps and whatnot. Not to mention, that it's frequently easier to paint a bumper off of the car, as opposed to bending over on the ground and spraying weird shapes while crouched on the ground. It also depends on the size of the paint booth, some of those smaller paint booths can barely fit anything in there. so if it's a small booth, there might not be enough to set it all up.
