So Im not getting spark or fuel. and have a solid CEL, Now before I continue, already check the ground at the thermo, tried other ecu's, replace main relay, checked fuse #14,. Ive been searching all day and thats all Ive come up with, So if anyone that knows what the problem could be, please chime in. I really want my car started.

 

did you check the main relay? sounds like that could be it. happens about every summer to me

 

Ohh snap sorry didnt see that you replaced that. Did you check all your fuses? one time I had a civic that wouldnt start because the srs fuse was out. I know 88-91 dont have srs but another fuse could keep it from doing that. and was the car running before? what have you done to it recently?

 

yea, checked every fuse. Was running a b16, then thew in a gsr, dont know whats up with it.

 

Any wires that you left unplugged? obd-1 on both motors?

 

Everything is connected. checked so many times, its not funny anymore. and yea, everyting is obd1

 

are you sure you arnt gettin spark and fuel. when u try to crank you car how does it sound? if its turing over but doesnt wanna start. could be ur distriobutor mine went out on me 2 months ago. got a new msn and started right up.

 

maybe the fuel pump went bad?

 

I dont hear the fuel priming and I dont see spark from the plug wires.
Yea im thinking its the dizzy too now. gotta get a hold of that first tho. Any other ideas?

 

Well i'd say srs fuse but that don't sound right. It happend on a obd-1 car of mine. But since you don't have it i'm assuming not. Are you sure you wired up it right for the gsr. Because I think gsr wiring and b16 wiring might be off a lil I'm not 100% on that thought.

 

i have seen you post ***** so much its not even funny srs Supplemental Restraint System is the airbag system which was no where near standard for our cars please leave things that our far of from topic.

code 0 i know that this is for oem wiring harness but you will need this along with obd1 code 0 diagnostic tree and a little bit of home work

 

I'm not a post *****. I think you are. Did you not read he checked all the fuses and everything. His car ran before. I'm thinking if some how the gsr had some weird stuff or he swaped over the whole wiring harness from a obd-1 car if that was the case then yes. I've also been thinking on this. So your getting power to everything else but these items. You stated you checked your grounds check again. Is the ecu grounded?

 

So I finally got around to the conclusion that i dont get power to my ecu. So I hooked it strait up to the 12v battery thermal. pins A13 and A15 i believe? But anyways. Now im getting power to the ecu. but Still i dont hear fuel priming. I get CEL codes now, but it has nothing to do with my the fuel. the codes are 6, 10, & 13. So can anyone chime in? Im so close to selling off the shell.
