Default EX wiring harness on STD?

Hello everyone, I need to replace my engine and dash wiring harness because in attempting to convert my 1991 STD hatch to OBD1, to work with a D15Z1 engine and P07 ecu, I cut the three ecu connectors off. I have yet to completely reveal the extent of the wiring behind the dashboard, but I have removed my dash board and started pulling the carpet back.

Anyways, I now want to return to stock wiring and then buy an OBD0 to OBD1 adapter harness and convert it the proper way. I found a 1990 Civic EX sedan at the junkyard with a good dash board, the wiring behind it and the entire engine harness, although it is multi-port. I thought I remember hearing the mpfi harness won't work on the base model or DX civic, but is this still true if I replace the dash harness too? Could I also use the EX dashboard? Also I've thought of adding the tilt steering column and cruise control would this be as straight forward as I think?

Thanks for all your help.
-Zach

does anyone know if a mpfi harness will replace a dpfi harness if I'm going to convert it anyways?

If you use the complete engine and dash harness then yes it will work. I do believe you should be able to make cruise control functional as well but I can't say for sure.

swap the whole harness = yes. Cruise control might not work unless you have the harness out of a car WITH cruise control.

Ill sell you a 91 honda civic MPFI Cabin harness. IF you drive a hatch it will bolt direcly into your dash if you are 90-91..88-89 you will have to do some additional wiring for your cluster to work properly.

the EX sedan harness will not work, you need a hatch Si harness if anything.
