WHAT SIZE

I bought a new shift **** and it did not come with the nut to keep the **** facing the correct way. does anyone know the size of the nut? ir the shifter threads?

why don't you try turniing the shift **** in differently like have it faced away or to left/right and see if it goes in correctly
