Is 225-45-16 on 16x8 +38 will fit on dc2 ?
Actually I have some TE37 16x8 +38 with 225-50-16. No camber kit.
But i have big rubbing issue. I guess the tire is too high. I rolled the rear fender, but looks like it still rub. And it is rubbing in front fender too, but i prefer to keep my plastic part inside the front fender.
And the car is standing really high. I can't lower because the fender will sit on the tires on the front.
So, I am wondering if I could use 225-45-16, and would like to know if some of you is running that size without too much rubbing issue. With that size maybe i will be able to lower the car a little more.
* I'm looking for 225-45-16 because there is no 215-45-16 in the r888 or a048 line.
Thank you guys.

225/45/16's will fit a DC2 with some fender rolling. You are going to rub in the rear with +38mm offset without fender rolling, some negative camber, or high enough ride hight.

98SpecR...I love you
Mart, unfortunately it sounds like you're finding out the hard way that 16" tire availability is garbage. FYI, the Kumho V710 IS available in 215/45-16, but wears a lot faster than the R888 or A048. Not sure what you're using the car for, but maybe that'll help. Try searching for "225/16" that seemed to produce the best results.

Thanx for not being too ruff on me
Sounds like that deal on those te37 was not really what i needed.
I'm using the car for track day/lapping ... nothing competitive, or maybe some time attack.
Its for an integra type R.
So i guess 15inch would be a better choice of size.
I will not ask what offset would be the best with a 15x7 wheel with a 225-45-15 tires.
I'm going to search before
Thank you

FWIW, 15" or 17" wheels are both better than 16" as far as tire availability. 16s are the ugly redheaded stepchild of the family.

Several sticky street tires are available for Integras in 16" sizes that will not require fender rolling or other unusual steps:
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 205/45-16
Kumho Ecsta XS 215/45-16
Toyo R1R 205/45-16
Falken Azenis RT-615 215/45-16
It's only the R compounds that suffer from lack of availability (although the R888 in 195/50-16 wouldn't require fender rolling either).

I'm happy you are posting in mine.
Well, I know you said a stickier tire lets say 195 width ,will stick more than a street tire of 225. But, is a 225-45-15 R tire ,would be better than a 195-50-16 ? I mean, since I already have 16 inch rims, it seems cheaper to find 16inch tire... but on the long run... i'm wondering if i should sell those 16inch rims, and buy 15 with 225-45-15 tires.
edit : ah, dang, can't fit 195-50-16 on my 16x8 rims anyway

225/45-15 is a very popular size for Integra tires that are used primarily on the track and/or for autocross. 195/50-16 isn't; I only mentioned it because of the previous discussion about availability of sizes that would not require rolling fenders and/or removing the wheel well liners. But you're right, Toyo only approves them for rims 5.5-7.0 inches wide, and I wouldn't use them on 16x8. It's also worth noting that sticky street tires in 205/45-16 like the Bridgestone RE-11 are not usually approved for 16x8 rims, but the ones in 215/45-16 like the Kumho XS are okay on 16x8.
