A/c Help!!
1995 Honda Civic
My ac only blows warm air.
On cool days it will blow cold air and the ac compressor will kick on. But on warm days it only blows warm air and the ac compressor does not kick on.
Whats the first thing i should look into???

There is a box looking thing under your dash behind the glove box. Inside that box there
is a thing call an evaperator. On the evaperator there is a wire the is lodged in it. That thing called the thermostat, measures the temp your ac is producing. That thing could be a culprit as to why your expierencing this probs.

I am going to try and replace the climate control and see if that fixes the problem. I have been told thats a huge problem with the 92-95 honda civic.

hold up guys...first thing you need to do is find out why the clutch isnt engaging. most likely its from low pressure in the system. grab a gauge that hooks to the low pressure port. you may need to add refrigerant for the clutch to start engaging at all. once it does then check the pressure on the gauge and report back. if pressure is low then you probably have a leak. a professional will need to dye test the system to find it and then you can replace parts as needed.
do not start pulling apart pieces of the a/c system by yourself. the system needs to be professional evacuated before taking things apart. it is illegal to release r134a into the air.
