iacv? b18 in ef

Default iacv? b18 in ef

ive a a ls swapped ef, never had any problems with it til the other day. its started ideling in between 1200-1400
and the iacv are cleaned, i did a wire tuck so i got rid of some vacume lines, could someone tell me what vaccume lines are absolutely needed?

I think any vacuum lines, going to the manifold is needed. I would check for cracks or maybe a leak somewhere. Post some pics.

you could have crazy air pockets in the cooling system, take off the radiator cap and bleed it out for a bit and see what happens. ive seen it stop idle surging before

Not to high jack, but where do you bleed it out? I'm having a simialar thing happen to my car.

You need the vacuum line to the MAP if you're running a firewall MAP, and the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator. That's it.

Also consider replacing your PCV, if it's stuck open (and if you still have it). Try setting your throttle stop as well.

mybikeisblack, there should be a bleeder nipple at the top radiator hose. I've had mixed results using it, and as mentioned earlier I usually bleed via the rad cap instead. Depends on if your block or your rad cap is higher.
