Hey I am not sure if this is the correct section but I had a question about my e break. The button is inset into the handle and im not sure how to fix it any ideas?

 

smack it with a rubber mallet. seems as though the spring inside is busted and came off

 

im not sure I want to do that un less thats what it really is

 

take the arm rest off and look in there. replace the handle. dont be a girl about it

I wasnt gettin on your case I was talking about the kid before me and I did but it didnt pop out all the way i need to take the arm rest off I think it needs to be tightened in the back as well

 

careful not to round off the screws that hold it down.

 

I had a problem similar to this, not sure if it'll help My handle was sliding up from pulling the e-brake up when parking. All I had to do was slide it back down. Try it?

 

see thats what i thought the problem was I will go take it apart now ive been sitting on my couch doing nothing

Went out and fixed the problem mallet idea was completley wrong and did not work esoomenona thank you very much for your help 100% right

Alright junior... I've been doing this **** well before you could even get your license. It was a joke, but you got all butt hurt about it; which isn't my fault...

Impact driver is your best bet to avoid this.
