DONT BUY OBX !!! pics inside,
OK,
this is the first and last time i buy a obx product,
just got it yesterday,
i opened the diff for the normal routine (replacing the allen bolts and washers)
so im opening the allen bolts, 2 of them was cut about 1/4" because they were too lazy to tap the threads deeper
second... look at the cast... worst job i have ever seen in my life!!!

Wow you got a beat one huh, return it dude. and you cant come on here and say dont buy it biggest piece of **** because although they arent a quaife the have been known to handle PLENTY of abuse from MANY people. so your one bad experience doesnt chaulk up the OBX lsd diffs on a whole man

axles havent got stuck in a long time with the newer designed ones but iff you do have that issue just bevel the inside and stuck axles are a thing of the past. my obx is currently non lsd due to the fact that i was to lazy to take it apart so i get one legger every once in a while LOLOL
i think i'm gonna run it like that. ill smoth the area and hope for the best,
didnt even had time to fill and send the "warrenty" card
Being as you are overseas....and what I tell all my overseas people....buy the best the first time. The hassle, time and shipping charges aren't worth the 20% savings from buying inferior stuff.
OBX here, pass side axle gets stuck, so you gotta just seperate the driver side axle and push it out with a rod, super easy, no big deal really. So far so good, 6500 miles
i took a chance getting one knowing of the possible shittiness. long story short in like 100 miles it stole 2nd and 4th from me. overheated my tranny to the point of the paint turning yellow, leaks due to making the axle seals break. all because they dont know how to maching things and me not checking the runout on it.
i can turn the axles by hand and watch them wobble as they turn.
so Quaife= 950 and knowing you wont have problems and take it out of the box and run it
or
OBX= having to strip it and change parts, possible uselessness, and possible tranny failure
NOT WORTH IT
I hope people read this and learn from my mistake as i now have to look for another tranny and buy another diff (Quaife this time for sure)
