how to check vtec solenoid?

Default how to check vtec solenoid?

any answer is appreciated. whats the resistance it should run, like any certain number?

its easy on the 1 wire connector find a way to put and sort of power to it. my vtec is a momentary button that is to the solenoid and then to the batery. you will know if you hit the button or give it power casue it will may a pretty loud tick sound.

well its like i said if you can take an aligator clip from the battery and tap it on the one wire connector to give power to it it will tell you if its good or bad because if it is bad then it wont click and if its good it will click. as far as your numbers go i lookd in my manual and i cant find any thing on the ohms of the solenoid. sorry

thats what i found to. i just dont wanna fry anything while running straight power to it

well if you tap it on then off it wont fry anything remeber that solenoid requires a 12v power source to kick on

honda doesnt seem to have that part listed separately in their catalogue.

anyone have a part number for it? i already have the spool valve filter.
