Ok, I have a 96 civic hx it had an automatic in it at one time but now is a stick(swapped out by previous owner). I had the car running yesterday, started up fine, but about an hour or so later I went to start it up and nothing no cranking no clicking nothing. I checked the starter and it fine, I replaced ignition switch still nothing, I check all fuses unless i am missing one and they are all fine(even replaced them to be sure). I still got nothing, the wires for the clutch pedal were never hooked up so thats not it either. Is there a relay i am missing or something else?

 

are the wires for the clutch interlock switch bridged?? if you just leave the connector off the switch will be permenetly open circuit and u won't get a start signal...

does the car have a security system?

 

I figured it out..the old auto shifter was in drive...thanks!!
