Default Court and Honda Canada (long)

For all you Cdn guys who have PAID to have their balance shaft seals replaced because it POPPED OUT, I will be taking legal action against Honda Cdn.

After submitting a request for reimbursement on the job Formula Honda did, my request was rejected by Honda Cdn Mfg (HCM) saying the timing belt replacement at 150k was due to normal scheduled maintenance . My timing belts got oil soaked bcause the bal seal popped out.

After submitting a 2nd request for reconsideration along with an invoice showing I did my routine timing belt maintenance at 110K, I got turned down again ! Reason being unrelated maintenance. What are these guys on ?

Anyways, I'll be filing court papers shortly... maybe ask GoldHawk or Silverman to help out as well.

Maybe this recall/tech service bulletin can help in your fight:

There is a mention of something to do with this, I think:

99-037 MAY 99 Front Balancer Shaft Oil Seal Installation Tool
