clutch problem...
my clutch pedal has about half a pedal of play, it grabs right off the bottom and I have trouble getting it into gears... anything above 4 grand i have to force it into gear... on the way up of letting off the clutch, the pedal kinda sticks about 20% down the pedal... i can pick it up to the top with my foot, but the next time i press it, on the way up it will go to the same spot again. i've bled the clutch multiple times and every time no bubbles come out... and yes i know the propper way to bleed a clutch. can anyone help me out here?
well is it leaking fluid cause if it is look on the inside of your car and see if there is fluid there cause if it is you have to replace the clutch master. it took me about and hour and half to do with bleeding. if not try your clutch slave. there is multiple stuff that could be it but try those first
what should i look for when i drop the tranny? loose pressure plate? the clutch itself grabs really good, there's just alot of play in the pedal and ****... i can't hit gears in it above like 4k rpm...
when you drop the tranny on the clutch plate it will look worn. imagine a while bunch of small brake pads on a plate. or even one big round one. if it is almost flat with the plate replace it. and yeah you have to remember that with a higher rpm that clutch has to grab very well and if your plate is worn its not going to grap very well .
