I have been searching the internet for hours and called a few parts stores but can't seem to find a place that sells just the cv joint without the axle. It seems everyone wants to sell you the complete axle -- I hate doing that knowing that I am going to throw away half of it. I know there has to be a place....

I think what you need is a cv quick boot. Not sure what you have over there in SC but here in cali they sell them at kragen.

You can't buy CV joints on their own, the outer ones aren't even meant to come apart. Just replace the axle.

 

they're such a pain and hassle to work with, let alone the messy-ness of the grease. Just get some DSS axles or lifetime warranty ones from NAPA/Autozone. They pay for themselves after a while.

i do have just the outter joint for sale and the boot , grease, clamps but like some guys mentiond by the time you ship it and install it, you might save yourself a headache and waste a couple of dollars by buying a new(replacement) axle pm me if you want to buy a NEW OE HONDA outter joint
