Default CRX hiccup problem need help

I’ve been having problems with my 1990 crx hiccupping this only happens when I’m driving at a steady rate of speed holding at a steady rpm usually between 2400-3000 and the lower my tank gets in gas the more often it happens it starts getting really bad around 3gallons left. The car has been dyno tuned so the fuel map and ignition are all right. I dropped the tank everything was good but I replaced the pickup/strainer and the fuel line in the tank m running a walbro 255. I have tried replacing the fuel relay also and I’m at a loss as to what’s causing this. The car runs fine with a full tank. I hope I can get some answers thanks for looking.

i had a crx with that same fuel pump. it did exactly the same thing. if i parked on a hill wrong id have to roll it to flat ground before it'd start again. never fixed it. i just got gas at 3/4 empty.

i know that doesnt help yall any. but just letting you know that you arent alone.

Anybody have a link to a DIY fule pump swap in a CR-Rex?

Mine hiccups only durring sunny hot summer days. Everything is pointing to the fuel pump being the culpret, but new ones are a huge expensive assembly. Perhaps there is a better way as this is just too costly right now...

maybe your fuel pick up don't sit low enough.my friend had the same problem so he told me to bend the metal bracket were the fuel pump sits, and also get longer fuel line and you will be good.
