I'd be more concerned about the bad camber angle you'll get from going too low. Roll center adjusters are the solution but are pricey and not fun to put in. I was lucky enough to find them for $100 on craigslist, but you should expect them to be $200+ online.
i would honestly suggest saving up for slipovers, or coils. springs cancel out the adjust ability aspect of lowering a car. if ep3 are anything like dc5s, the butt of your car will be slugging around after a few weeks of riding.
save yourself now

damn orlando you really wanna lower your ep dont you? IMO just bear the mini van look for a while and just save up for some coils. well whatever you do good luck with it
(side note) i really wanna lower mine too. its KILLING me. but too bad i cant get a full time job yet. and im not sure if my job would let me have overtime.

Cut the spring save cash .
No matter how you do it a slammed vehicle will handle like ***.
Track cars have thousand of money just put into suspension alone..

Don't get the Neuspeed Race springs... Neuspeed made a mistake when making these springs... they are too soft, actually they are softer then stock!!! Which is bad!!!!!!!
Orlando go with the Progress springs or the H&R Sport! Do it right or don't do it all!!! Trust me on this...

The thing is that H&R don't give us the numbers of their spring rates for the Sport suspension specifically for the EP3 so I couldn't really tell you how much stiffer they are or not!
Now between the 2, from a lot searching and reading people's opinions about the 2 different springs I would go with the Progress springs! They seems to offer a very good spring rate that is good for the street and a little track/autox... H&R must have a better then stock spring rate but like I said I am not sure on how much more stiffer they are! But they drop the car a little to low which will lead to problems with the rack and pinion and trust its a very expensive repair!
Progress drop is 1.8 front and 1.5 rear
H&R drop is 2.0 all around

yep i have gone that far into reseach myself. thanks for the input. man i dont know how thoose others guys go lower and run their cars for like 90k and still dont have problems with the rack and pinion
wow... nothing but crazy *** opinions... :shakehead:
to the OP... call it a day and either get you the HFP suspension or try and go with the rsx a-spec suspension... either one will lower your car by about an inch all around and will still be within OEM alignment specs... so no camber bolts or kit needed... anything lower than that will result in not so good handling and will have you bottoming out like crazy... go to clubep3.net and take a look at the suspension forum in there... TONS of info... if you have any questions, revert to the forum i specified or hit up mustclime... he's pretty knowledgable when it comes to suspension...

Btw Mustclime is also on Honda-Tech! And I have also read the suspension thread that mustclime wrote and I agree he knows his stuff but I have read different things from different people who know just as much as him so its hard to just say what is right and what is wrong!
yeah thats number 1 one on my list! ur gonna walk me along with all this. thanks Dave. so if i wait like 3 weeks after i get the spring then get the tokico shocks? or would i be fine riding around on the progress spring on my stock struts for like 4 weeks?
there's no point in putting your springs on if you're gonna be a few weeks behind getting your shocks/struts replaced... just wait and do it all at once... it'll be less of a headache for you...
ya if you are going to end up getting the shocks in a couple weeks wait but if its going to be like in 5 months then put them on... no point in paying the techs 2 times to do the same work!
will do. the money is coming together. but one thing it sound like my engine is knocking now slightly?? wtf first it was my clutch and i got that fixed and now this.
