Default Fuel Filter8(

Have you ever changed your Fuel filter? OMG what a fkn Bishop. Man I started working on the Fuel Filter at about 8p.m yesterday because it started raining. Guess what time I finished? Fking like 8a.m. What a pain in the ***, it's so cramped accessing it. The idea crosed my mind Maybe I should jus hold out until my new...O oops can't let that out But yeah I was pissed for practically the duration of the job, It's worth it I guess. I kept dropping the crowsfoot, I the screws wouldn't screw in. Ended up wasting a little bit of gas ANY TIPS ON HOW TO GET THIS JOB DONE FASTR? I learned a bit about the fuel system. Peace

Haha I was going to recommend you use the crowsfoot as without it I think it would be fairly impossible to get it done. But you said you had one!

Me+About 4 other guys+a lift+95 accord ex+fuel filter=3 hours of FML!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it takes forever. A lot of people I know take it to a technician to do, now of course if you are one, myself included, it looks bad taking your own car to another one. Either thast or people will just not change it. As CaliLuv said to me once, its really easy......when the engine is out.

I knew it was gonna be a pain in the as*. I did mine when I had my motor out, so I didn't have to struggle with it.

i ended up cutting mine out, as the nut was fused tight to the hardline...had to replace the section of hardline, and ended up relocating the fuel filter to the top of the engine compartment...

All that grass! Ja Ja no I have swapped the tranny in my accord already but it was more space friendly once you move the dizzy and starter unlike the firewall/Under/rear subframe crack access to the Filter.

Where would I be without it, but for this job...It's useless. The D.I.Y in FAQ helped me as much as it could but it doesn't account for cramped space and lack of lighting at night.

Ha Ha yeah, luckily I have a athletic slender frame so I could squeeze and maneuver my arm to it sideways.

You must be talking about an air filter or something. Even On the greatest day of your life, even if the lower fuel fitting was loose it would still be a PIA. Even Superman would sweat bwa ha

Damn I completely believe you, it's nuts trying to remove that ish. Even though I know how to do it, I dread it. Theres only enough room to make like 1 to 2/4ths a turn and then the crowfoot gets randomly stuck and then the POS gets stuck and falls down in your face and makes you feel like a Failure lolz. Well I hope you relocated it to a much more friendlier location. I hAve Something in store for everybody and I may decide to throw in relocating the fuel filter as well for convenience. Thanks for the Idea

Ahh u did a tranny job huh? you moved your dizzy, not even the Haynes manual calls for that. Also if your good with your hands its not that hard, dont worry the greese wipes off puss.

To your 2nd comment... Since when did Air filters require banjo bolts numbnutz? get your readin glasses and read again. I have replaced the fuel filter twice on your car.

Dude you are stupid as ***.Who are you supposed to be dikhead? STFU.
And like I said a trans job on the CD5 provides more space with the Dizzy removed. Yeah the dizzy isn't absolutely neccesary, but any mechanically inclined person will tell you that more leverage and clearance typically helps.

And Reading glasses? Why don't you put yours on, WHY THE **** WOULD AN AIR FILTER HAVE A FUEL BANJO ON IT?! Your a failure. That's obvious stupidity on your part.
I said in response to your MR.EASYFUELFIL remark that you must be talking about fixing an Air Filter. I then continued in a jokingly form of fashion how hard the fuel filter replace would be for you, me, or anyone, and even superman. You took it offensively when it was obviously a joke. Your worse than women! If you read the other posts you would see that most guys had at least a little trouble. One member even had to cut the fkn line off! I don't even think CD5 fuel filter and Easy could be in the same sentence. Do us all a favor and eat glass.

You said i must be talking about an air filter when i said the fuel filter only requires to remove two banjo bolts u stupid **** flap. Your the dip **** who started this thread with an 12 hour fuel filter replacement, and your the gina that got offended about me sayin practice makes perfect. Noone on here mentioned a 12 hour fuel filter replacement have fun your next oil change.

I completely respected your first post, the next one was like Ms.Hyde came out. Like why did you have to even transition from saying practice makes perfect to It's only two banjo bolts it wasn't that difficult? Like wise to *******. If you want to be technical it's not even two banjo bolts it's one and the lower bolt is a fitting not a Banjo Stooge. Seriously you seem like a potentially cool guy, just learn how to not be a dick. Getting offended over jokes? Come on that's elementary. Ha Ha Oil Change...I hope your Ebay Turbo Kit blows up, lmao. JK Relax dude don't get all **** on us again ja ja

uhh yah not an ebay turbo kit. 1 yr and still going strong buddy, It would be fun to work on it again though, haha. I would be more careful when throwin air filter comments out like that, especially when there are mechanics who know more then me on here.

Well Im guessing I could do it pretty fast now but the first time was a bich. I don't know if it's easier on the 6th gen than it is on the 5th? But yeah Fuel Filter is not the most comfortable job. Enough said on this topic

Hey 99 what is the stock hp on your f23. Im guessing you could boost it even higher than 235 but thats pretty nice.
