Well you should do a compression test/leakdown test to see if the motor is good.

EG halo lights = ricer.

<100whp/>120whp i'd say, you're going to get different results from dyno to dyno and depending on altitude and temperature, things of that nature. so assuming it would be a strong motor accounting for a 15% drivetrain loss you would be floating somewhere between 100-120whp. Just remember with hondas it isn't about how much power in numbers.

leakdown tests are pretty easy but, dont buy it if the numbers are low.

What most people who don't run these motors think(or dont know honda motors in general...) is that they are all the same...HAH!!
I'm putting down 192whp on my Ls/vtec. I'm also running ITR pistons bigger injectors,TB,Cams,Intake,etc,etc,etc.... It all depends on what your running inside the motor. LS/vtec just means b18A or b18b with a vtec head. what head is it? What pistons/rods/cams/etc. Better question is what is the Compression ratio?
Its not like a GSR or std B16 swap... nobody can ever tell you how much power a "stock" ls/vtec is making without knowing exactly what its made of....
Personally though... I would never buy a used ls/vtec.
