I just replaced both front seats from a 98 civic coupe.
I don't know if my old seat was so worn down, but on the new seat it feels a bit higher.
the new seats bolted right on, and i was in a rush so i didn't have a chance to compair rails.
so i was just wondering if ek hatch seat sit lower or my old seats was just that worn out.

depends if they're stock EK rails? I know recaro EK rails sit higher than OEM EK rails

 

What seats did you use to have?

But yes, EK seats do sit higher, but I don't know what you're comparing them to or what rails you're using.

 

96-00 hatch, coupe and sedan seats are all going to be the same height...

only difference is the fabric pattern between years and trims.... height width ect are all the same.

 

My 96 coupe had seats that just slid back/forth and the back moved forward.
My 99 coupe has a big wheel on the side to adjust the way the *** part of the seat sits.
More than just some fabric differences for those years...

 

The only difference would be the drivers side pan... The 99-00 EX and SI (possibly LX as well) had seat height adjusters on the drivers side... The pans are interchangeable so they are essentially the same seat and they will sit at the same height with the adjustments all the way down...
