Default Needen some input

Looking for a new car cant make up my mind Integra, Hatch, Or Coupe.
I just got rear ended and they may think its totalled so there going to give me the value of the car. and i still owe money on the car but i was thinking i would use that money to buy a new one and keep paying the old car payment couse i cant get approved anywhere.

Any help would be great thanks.

I would say hatch. lightweight, compact, and they can look cool as hell.

I second the hatch. Has more interior space, and you can always sell it back, and probably at the same price you got it for.

The bank will not let you keep a loan on a vehicle that is totaled. Sorry, I know it sucks but they as a lein holder need some sort of collateral i.e. a vehicle, with the car totaled whats to say you wont just stop paying (not saying you personally would, just a scenario) then they would reposses what? A totaled car?

Do you have gap insurance on your loan? You might want to check on that.

Now possibly if you have cash to buy a car they might give you a new loan to cover the difference, with the new car as collateral.

I'd say buy a coupe IMO, but I'm forever in love with the EJ1.
