i have a 1994 honda civic dx stock.. i took out the 1.5 single cam and got a b18b1 dohc bouth auto tanney. so i got the rear mount bolted in and the tow side mounts will not line up why?????

 

Are you using the correct rear mount? Swaps usually dont come with the mounts you need, they usually come with the mounts to put that motor back into the car it came out of. What kind of car did you take the motor out of?

Anyways, i usually bolt the 2 side mounts in first, and then have some friends push on the motor while i wrestle the rear T bracket mount into place.

 

i just put 1 in useing all integra mounts rear and all...had to massage the pass side frame rail...and drill the mount to move the bolt like 1/2 inch....hope this helps....what have u done about the 6 extra wires on the trans??

 

are you swapping an auto into an originally manual car?

 

it came out of a 1995 integra and the car was auto and sill gona be auto

 

and when u drilled it out did the axles still line up and drive right???? i was thinking of doing that to the pass side but i wasnt sure???

 

i bolted all the other mounts up first..then drilled it.so the axle is straight drives rite..just dont know on the 6 wires and the tcm wiring in. what did u do about that??? or are you that far yet??ive read it wont shift

 

i didnt have any wires left over did u use a different wire harnest???

and i got it bolted in and three not the right way but its in there... i hacked up the pass side mount not the smarted but its a what ever.

 

and did u do an auto swap... if u did. did u have issues with the power steerin pump and altanater hitting???

 

yes i did auto swap..no hitting pwr steeringor alt ....but alt is real close...auto trans for integra has more sensors.....i used ls harness there is a6 wire plug on pass side shock tower ..that does not plug up.....what harness did u use?? what trans do u have ?? i have 94 ls auto....has more sensors than the civic....

 

i uesd the stock harnest on the ls out of a 95.. are the extra wires on the plug????
i didnt look at that but it is all in pluged in. and i got my camber kit in today front and rear. do u know and thing about front camber kits. igot one and it just looks realy cheap not the welds but the 4 bolts the holds the ball joint in place. and i have the LSD auto tans??? all the plugs went together on mine??

 

no its an extra plug...there are 4 plugs on passenger shock tower above mount...no i have never messed with camber kits

 

i had enough plugs for all everything pluged in...?
