Default Swapping wiring harnesses.

Anything that would prevent me from removing a complete wiring harness from an EG Civic and putting it in an EF?

How hard of a job is this gonna be?

COMPLETE harness? including the interior harness? that would be a complete pita..that would involve pulling the dash, pulling the interior panels, etc.

i did it from a crx si to a hatch std. it's not that hard it just takes time and patients.
but going from 2 different models might pose a problem, but it's worth a try.

i'd do it

I still have the engine bay harness plugged into all the sensors into the a6 head still....so alls I would need is the interior harness.....and then just plug and play right???

i'd be really worried about things like lights, both headlights and taillights, interior switches, etc. i'm sure it can be done, but i bet it's gonna take a lot of work

Well, what I've got is a COMPLETELY stripped, no engine '89 Hatch w/ the harness cut at the ECU.

Will be putting a D16Z6 in the car. I have a parts Hatch I can use for miscellaneous. I just want to get the ECU Wiring complete again. What's the best way to do it?

I can probably get you one from my local junkyard. If you want it, let me know and I will try to get it for you. It will be from an STD or DX not sure which model it is.

I'm doing this swap too but as I understand it you keep both parts of the DX harness. You add a few pins and wires inside and the distributors have different plugs and that's all.
