cable b16 gears in an hydro ls case

Default cable b16 gears in an hydro ls case

Does anyone know if the gearset of a b16 fit in a hydro ls case. And if so, is there suppose to be any mods done. Let me know asap

the only b series tranny years that will fit into a hydro casing from a cable is 92 and 93.. but they didn't have the cable trannies in 92 and 93.. but if you can get a cable gsr from either of those years that would be a good thing..

I believe the tranny the above poster is referring to is the YS1, from the Integra GSR.

To the OP, you are better off getting a hydro B16 tranny, it is less headache and maybe cheaper in the longrun.

Yeah, i just took it apart. Its a bit different and i think it could work with some modification but im not going to do it. Probably going to sell the b16 cable gearset and save up for a b16 hydro trans.
