Default Si/Ex shift lever...

Hi, I am having problems with the shift lever from the previous owner being too big and rubbing on the o2 sensor below, does anyone know if the 99-00 si shift lever is a different or the same size than the same year Ex models?
Thanks before hand

I've never had a problem, and I'm running an EX shift lever on an Si transmission. I've always thought they were interchangable, if not 100% the same.

well... now... come to think of it, I did have clearance problems when I had an Si shift lever on the same transmission, so I pulled it and threw my EX back in.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure its doable yet there is some difference since they are supposed to fit different transmission, so there are some problems which I think is why i am having problems. I guess ill look for a oem one and shy away from those ebay knock offs...
