nothing. its supposed to do that. there are drain holes in the bottom of the door to let the water out. that rubber 'seal' is to keep your glass from rattling back and forth.

that plastic sheet was what kept the water out. put it back, or have an audio shop put in a new peice.

^^ wrong your molding is way off the clips are probably broken or not fastened correctly there is also a screw where it attaches to the side view mirror. the plastic sheet does keep water out like jhmed9 said and their are gaps at the bottom of the door to let water out but you must have a flood of water come in when it rains. If you need new moulding or clips here is a link to an online parts store there is also a diagram if that helps

!!
my trim looks the same way. if it was close enough to the glass to keep all the water out, it would be stupid hard to roll up and down. besides that it would have to have a peice of something on the inside to keep the glass pushed consistantly into the rubber strip. whats on the door panel (inside) doesnt push hard on the glass or it would scratch up your tint and glass.

i never had any water leak issues til some douchbag busted my window to steal a cheap *** cd player. i took off the plastic to replace the glass, and now i have water pour in when it rains.
