Default Toda C Cams with Skunk2 Valvesprings

Quick question,

Now I know Toda makes there own valvetrain for these camshafts for $400. But I got a brand new set of Skunk2 311-05-0350 Valvesprings which can be used with Skunk2 Stage 3 cams.

Does anyone know if I would have and wear or binding issues with these valvesprings?

Thanks.

Those are the tuner series valve springs, i wouldn't use them with the pro3 cams! Toda C's are a very aggressive cam, i would definitely use there springs and retainers. At the least you need to step up to the Skunk2 pro series set up, the lift on both cams are pretty extreme.

Thats what I was looking at on skunk2's website.

So I might as well just use these:

Supertech Valvesprings SPR-H1002D
Would these be too much wear? Too stiff?

From what i see, and im by no way an expert. Seems that the coil bind on the supetechs is way to high and would definitely cause accelerated valve retainer, valve seat, rocker and cam lobe wear. I would go with Toda's valve spring set up, those cams are expensive and you obviously have money in the bottom end to even really run with these cams. I wouldn't risk breaking expensive parts just because i went cheap in another. I say you spend the extra money now to run the toda spec parts then to risk floating a valve or wearing out all the other related parts. Heres some specs just for reference.

Toda Valve Springs

Variable or Linear: Variable
Seat Pressure: ???
Max Lift: 12.5mm
Coil Bind: 12.9mm
Pressure @ 12.5mm/.492" lift: 190lbs

Supertech B-Series Valve Springs PN SPR-H1002D-KIT
Variable or Linear: Linear
Seat Pressure: ???
Max Lift: 12.5mm
Coil Bind 19.5mm
Pressure @ 12mm/.472" lift: 190lbs
