2002 Honda Accord - When I turn on the blinker then either apply the brakes OR turn on the lights the blinker stops. When the break is released or I turn off the light the blinker continues.

 

I say you have a burned out bulb. Most likely a dual-filament and when one is out, it can't handle both jobs any longer. Get a buddy to help you check for blown bulb as you press on the brakes and flip on signals.

I did check the blinkers. One thing I noticed is when I turn on the lights the rear bulbs seem to be dim. I will replace the bulbs.

 

Bulb out or shortage somewhere.

 

a wire is shorting out somewhere. is there corrosion in any of the sockets?
