Default bigger brakes

ive got an option to buy the whole spindle, calipers, brackes, everything from a 1998 civic EX 2 door, vtec car.

i keep reading about the ex brake upgrades for my 89 CRX Si, and am wondering if these are the parts i need. also, i bielieve that these are either 10.3 or 11.1 uncertain, though as i seem to get different andswers every time i search.

are the rear brakes swappable and an upgrade?
i just need some clarification before i spend money.

You can use all the brake components from the 98 EX except for the knuckles, you need either 90-91 Civic EX knuckles or 90-93 Integra knuckles.

Others have made the 92-01 style knuckles work but I believe it involves using camber kits and all.

If you want 11.1" brakes, use the fastbrakes adapter brackets, hub rings, 94-01 Integra Calipers, 1990 VW Corrado rotors and upgrade your Master Cylinder to the 90-91 EX 15/16"

Yes, they will GENERALLY fit. I had to get some thin spacers for my rims, as I've got SSR Type X's that come in a bit.

I've still got the stock MC without problems; wondering if that should be my next upgrade.

yeah but 11.1" looks so much better behind 15" wheels. and you get to keep your stock knuckle.
