Default WTB: SSR Centercaps (come take a peeeeeeeek) MK3-S/TypeC

I need a set of 4 centercaps for a set of SSR wheels.

Sadly, Tanabe (SSR) support has been as useful as neosporin is to herpes.

Anyways, I need a set of SSR MK3-S centercaps, however since those are not as easy to find as some others that fit I will take what I can get.
The bore is 58mm where the centercap goes.

I am looking for either:

SSR MK3-S centercaps

or

SSR Type C Aluminum centercaps

or

or if someone can help me as to what the below centercaps have for a bore I would be very appreciative...Tanaba(SSR) doesn't even know. But they will sell you them...lmao

i have already been down this road w/ the mk3-s and none of those ol skool caps will work for mk3-s.

the smallest version of the type c comp will work. (not sure if that tells you much though).

when more-japan first listed all those ssr caps all the sizes were listed. now they are not.

Thanks for the reply, I have 2 SSR type C caps on my MK3-S now, however I need an additional two. I know the bore for the 5 lug is much larger than the 4 lug, so it is 4 lug that I need, however the question here is, do I have the tall or short version....LoL
For the records and incase anyone ever needs to know, the bore of the 4 lug Type C is 58mm, I measured it myself.

I am curious if Reverse Mesh centercaps will fit, easier to find those (somewhat) than MK3-S's

This is going to be a pain in my *** finding these, I already know it. lol

Thanks Opossum for offering your knowledge on this issue you have already been through.

I am going to probably just order 4 new Type C centercaps for 4 lug, short ones to be safe unless I find something that fits soon. ugh

yes, for a fact the smallest version of the ssr reverse mesh cap will work. they are essentially the same style of cap. (gear style)

I'll get some pics and measurements of the two styles of caps that I have later today. I have some plastic ones that came with my Type C's, and ONE aluminum one with "SSR" engraved in the face.

The guy I bought my SSR's from gave me the aluminum one (has on o-ring to hold it on), because he said the other 3 came off his other SSR's. He had another set of Type C's on his MINI, and I have been contemplating going out to his house to see if he'd be interested in selling those (with trading my DR20 winter wheels) so he'd have something to roll on.

FWIW, he has NO CLUE what SSR's are, or what they're worth.

Pretty sure I still have a full set of the small SSR Type-C centercaps (aluminum polished color). PM me with your offer on them. I'll verify tonight to make sure.

Still in the search :0)

The 4 lug SSR Type C aluminum caps fit in the MK3-S, I already have two in there, so either looking for a pair or a full set of those. They look good as they aren't too "modern" looking and really plain so they suit the old MK3-S quite well in my opinion
