Went to Gville to the track last night. Finally put on Skunk2 intake manifold the car feels like it pulls harder top end. Still have same mods Aem cold air and exhaust. We drove straight up there and first past of the night was a 14.6 @96.

best run of the night was 14.50 at 96.6 not to shabby w/ a crappy 2.37 60ft i gained almost 4tenths from just the intake manifold and almost 2mph on my little old b16.

The best part of the night was running agains a hatch w/ a H22 gutted not even dash and beating him his best of the night was 14.9 there was another one there that ran 14.5 w/ intake header and exhaust h22 gutted as well w/ drag radials his best was a 14.5 but only at like 92mph

and u should be able to drop the 60 foot time a tenth or so and lose some time there

 

Its is true my buddy that has same motor as mine ran 14.8 on w/ his car same setup put a type R intake manifold and ran a 14.4 the only thing he had different than me both time was he had header.

My runs previous were consistent 14.8 w/ out the intake manifold and now 14.5 .. the car should be good for 14.3 we found out later next day the clutch was not adjusted right and it was slipping.

Im gonna adjust it put some cams and cam gears and vafc and dyno then back to the track for high 13's.

 

Nice time!! Any idea what your car weighs?? I hope an intake manifold gives me 3 tenths and 2 mph!!

 

im thinking around 23-2400 lbs. ill have to get it weighed in soon to find out for sure

 

If you get your 60's to 2.2 (which you should with your clutch) you should run a 14.3

 

oh i dont doubt the car is good for 14.3 i have a set of kumo ecsta's the suck big time they spin so much its not funny thats the reason for the horrilbe 60 fts.

i might put slicks on it next time just to see how much i can knock off w/ slicks but i really want to get around high 13's on street tires.

Once i start working on the race car i wont car to much more about making my hatch fast.
