Tell me what you think
s2000 01 ,I bought this car from an auction back in april 09 . I did some reading about turbos being installed alot of youtube videos , So I did some reading and decided to do it. I really thought it would be around $1000.00 to do it. Boy was I wrong!
Around $4500.00
now. I never installed one before . So I bought a kit off Ebay . For $999.00 , That was the problem , I replaced every thing from that kit except for the intercooler and the piping . So my friend who has set up many turbos but never on a vtec did alot of research , Now its done , running 14psi and what a fast ride.

works great , I bought it from a guy from graigs list who had the same car and set up , which he had it tuned , I still need to have the tuners check it but because when vtec kicks in it stumbles for a sec. Other than that great

yep you should never buy something like a turbo kit off ebay (unless you don't care about the longevity of your car), guess you found out the hard way. Either way good job!
put some sort of lip on and slam it. also get some proper wheels considering your making decent power you can run an agressive wheel set up and not feel slugish whats the point of going fast in a straight line when you cant make the first corner
lol r you speaking from experience? ebay kits rnt all that bad its the douche bags that buy them and try tuning there cars with afc neo's. Its not that turbo set up that determans the longevity of ur car its the tune
no I would never buy something that big from a company that does LITTLE/NO R&D. Think about it, why are the cheapest legit turbo kits for the S2000 over $3800, sure some of it could be "brand name" but for $999 you CANNOT be buying a QUALITY product. If they are selling at that price and still making a profit think of how cheaply made it was. When I had a WRX just a quality turbo would cost $700+
And I am not saying all ebay products, just the 999 turbo kit. Sure a shift **** or a SS, something simple can be a good buy on ebay but not something that is as big as a turbo kit. Would you buy a knock off BBK for your car and risk it not being able to stop?
Back on topic, your car looks really clean just lower and get a front lip!
