WHAT OIL
Well I believe Honda recommends 10w-30......

well the kid i bought it from has been using 20 50 he showed me. i think that is way too thick for a 4 cylinder 2.6 liter engine. plus it was advanced atuo brand. i want that out as soon as possible. i just want some recomondations. i know when a car get older you use a tad bit thicker wieght but 20 50 dont seem right to me

Just use whatever 5w-30 or 10w-30 is on sale at Walmart.
Do regular oil and filter changes. That's what's important.
You don't need high dollar oil in a low dollar car.
I use Mobil 5000 and Fram filters in my 05 Legacy GT with 109,000 miles and 16.5psi.
of boost. It's had a number of different brands oils during it's life. All that's important is to change the oil on a regular basis.
