crx bogs and acts like rev limiter at 3k rpm
Been working on the car all day long its a y8 i think from like a 99. IT is a crx has rc injectors, skunk IM, crower head. The engine is built. runs rough and is throwing code 10. not sure but when you get going it acts like its hitting a rev limiter at 3k rpm and wont go anywhere until you punch the gas then it will go past it. I cant figure it out plz help.;
sounds like you need a tune. a vtec controller is not going to cut it. the ecu is making it run uber rich due to it expecting stock 240cc injectors to be there, and you are running something larger.

If you are throwing code 10 thats IAT (Intake air temp sensor) since you have a y8 running on a z6 ECU, you have to add the sensor to either the intake manifold or on your piping somewhere.
As mentioned above, you need a tune thats why the car is running rough...it's in limp mode thats why it only revs to 3k. Order a basemap from phearable.net or Xenocron and chip your ECU so you can run there car.
I would not recommend running your car unless you want to risk blowing up the motor because tuning has been completed.

the car has been running fine for a year now. put the bigger injectors in a month ago and now this past sunday it started acting up.
Im sure he was getting absolutely terrible gas milage.
Take the car and get it tuned for the injectors, if not you will damage it, if its not already.
