89 dx hatch swap question
Ok so i want to do a swap on my ef hatch and i found a 94 eg hatch with a b16 top and GSR bottom with Type r internals
Its a OBD0 to OBD1 converson
Do you think it would work i mean i know all honda engines can go in any honda but what all would i need to do it i know i need a new ECU and wireing harness is there anything else?
and also do you think it would be a waste of time
and sorry if post if confusing im new to this lol
Thank you

yea.. not even close.
you'll need a hydro to cable clutch conversion since if its in an eg, the tranny is definately hydraulically actuated.
you will need:
-an ecu tuned for that engine
-an obd0 to obd1 dizzy harness and ecu jumper w/ subharness for 4 wire o2, vtec, etc. (rywire, http://rywire.com/store/8891-crxcivi...530391b30be407)
-90-93 integra axles, and manual trans intermediate shaft
-90-93 integra rear t bracket (has to be from manual trans)
-b-series into ef shift linkages, or shortened DA linkages
-90-93 throttle cable
-b-series into ef engine mounts
-b18 cable driven vehicle speed sensor (assuming you're retaining your stock cluster)
-90-93 engine bracket (the part that actually bolts to the block)
If you don't have an hf or si then you will also need to convert from dpfi to mpfi
