im thinking about purchasing a hatch from a friend of mine with a motor that came out of my 00 coupe lol he says it wont pass smog because i need a harness...i believe it has my old ecu and tranny and everything...could the only problem be the harness?

 

they are bascily the same motor just one has vtec the other doesnt,
all you have to do is mod yours, and add a few plugs that the y7 does not have,
i dont know why it would pass.
