thats close.. im not totaly sure.. i have my 8.5s on a 7'' wheel with no problems.. but a 6'' is cutting it close.. i wudnt do it.. its not worth blowing the beed and flying of the track..

i believe a friend of myne is using 8" wide slicks on 5.5 or 6" wide steelies.he has been down the track countless times and still @ it.. it can be done but I DO NOT SUGGEST IT!
