Default SOHC ZC swap questions

I have a 90 ef hatch with a blown d15b2. Im trying to put a motor in this thing and cant seem to make my mind up. I really dont care about power to much, I just need a car to drive around till my DSM gets better. I was looking into a SOHC non-vtec ZC to throw in there. I have been searching around to see what all it would take to put it in there, the only thing I came up with is to use a SI ecu and that should be it. That dont seem right, I think I would have to wire it for MPFI some how. Does anybody have any info on this swap to help me out with it. I have about 600 bucks to work with on this, so the lower the better. Thanks.

yes, you would need to convert from DPFI to MPFI - the actual swap of the SOHC ZC non-VTEC is the same as if you were swapping in a D16A6 from 88-91 CRX/Civic Si

So the engine exchange is easy, bolt up and move on. Then to the DPFI to MPFI I need to, mate parts of a Si harness to my stock DX harness(needed for injector plugs, injector resistor box plug, and distributor plug), Install SI ecu, do all of this http://www.geocities.com/teampimports/fuelinj.html, and I should be good? Also the injectors have the harness still plugged into them, but the wires are cut, I can use these so I dont have to get a SI harness correct? And one more, can I just put the d15b2 intake on there for now and drive that around? I want to swap for the MPFI but I wont be able to do it when I get the motor?

but he could just keep the DPFI stuff and just swap the block and head. itll still run, no conversion, just keep all the DPFI manifold stuff around and bolt it up to the new engine.

or am i missing something...?
